The breakfast was great! When we checked in, we were asked what time we would like to eat our breakfast and an entire spread was awaiting us downstairs in the dining room! While Switzerland in general tends to be more expensive for traveling than other European countries, the value of this facility was well worth it. Everything was comfortable, the views spectacular and the proximity to the train station exactly what we needed. The staff went above and beyond, by holding on to our luggage for us, even after we checked out, as we had some more exploring to do the day we left.

Top value. I chose this place because everything was booked in nearby Mendrisio and it was the only place still available. In fact it's a gem. The restaurant is amazing (and full of local people and families in the evening, which is meaningful) and my room was top. Plus, you can walk/hike to Mte San Giorgio from there if you're after breadthtaking views. It's some minutes from Mendrision with the train, and the staff let me the keys hidden outside for my late arrival. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly, the food was great both for the breakfast and the restaurant in the hotel, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfy. Being right across from the train station was very convenient.

Very friendly staff, same staff also serving breakfast. Also ready to make a joke and accept a joke back. All in all very pleasant and very recommendable. Very close to the station and Monte Generoso maintain railway.

Helpful staff great location in quiet non tourist type area on the lake with fantastic views perfect overnight stop over and great food in large restaurant inside or out high level,of quality and customer care

Quite a long way from motorway juction, although almost underneath it. (motorway) Car park is a public park just next to the hotel with a pass. Very nice room with excellent fittings. We had a fantastic Pizza in the restaurant and a good breakfast. Well worth another visit

Clean, comfortable, good size for room for our family (triple) had air conditioning even though it’s an old building. Location is excellent. Cleaning and restaurant staff were excellent. Close transport links (100m) and near to public beach (circa 500m).
